The Honeymeads

While in quarantine during the Covid-19 Pandemic, Dennis Ware from the Holy City Heaters and Ellie Jos found themselves without their typical bands and venues that keep them busy working musicians in the Charleston Area. Having played in bands together before, Dennis and Ellie formed The Honeymeads and started performing live each week on Facebook for family, friends, and new followers. What started as concerts from the living room is now an official duo venturing out to play weddings, events, and music venues around town. The combination of Dennis Ware’s guitar and vocals with Ellie Jos’s fiddle and harmonies make for an Americana duo that brings you original music and covers of tunes from artists like Gillian Welch, John Prine, Neil Young and Mandolin Orange.
